“For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”

This scripture is a breath of fresh air. Two days ago I was struggling to understand why everything was not the way I wanted it to be and where was God  during my downtime. The above scripture was such an assurance that He is there in the midst of my life. He is there in my chaos and my moments of frustrations. He is living among st us and aware of our every unspoken word and fear. Just that very thought was enough to make me realize that all that noise in my head is unnecessary and God is ruler over all.

Like a parent delighting over a new born baby, my Father delights in me. I err along the way but He tugs me along gently and delights in me. The thought of Him taking away all my fears and filling me with hope and calmness brings me unshakable peace. Those simple words reminded me of how great His love for me is

In the midst of all my chaos He is singing over me. That was indeed a surprise, why would my Lord sing over me when I continue to falter and give into my whims. The thought reminded me of how we as parents continue to sing over our children even though we have had only two hours of sleep.
